Edie's Birthday

Today is Edythe Marie Repka-Kolanowski's birthday. She was born at 8:59 AM today after a whirlwind labor. She is 20" long, weighed 8 lbs, 4 oz.

Her Mom woke me up at 2:AM saying her contractions were coming regular enough that we should start timing them. By about 5:AM, they were regular enough that we called the doula, and the midwife - and they both told us to get to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital about 5:45, and were admitted about 6:15. By 9:AM, Edie was born. Sorry I didn't have time to blog during the actual labor.

Both Mom and Edie, as well as NewDad, are healthy, happy, and taking lots of naps.

Very Pregnant

Hey all, I got TK this very funny (I thought) T-shirt for Christmas, and we decided to take some pictures of her in it. She's feeling VERY pregnant right now, but I'm not sure I want the baby here just yet - I still haven't packed my bag for the hospital.
