"The ground is covered in joy!"

is what Edy said to me on our way to our local coffee shop for some breakfast yesterday. Maybe we have a future poet.

Edy Skin Diving in the Bathtub

I think she will be ready for snorkeling in Hawaii next year. :-)

Sick Sick Sick

Edison is down with something nasty - conjestion, cough. I don't see how his nose can be so runny and still be stuffed up. He has no appetite, and if he did, he can't eat anyway since his primary path of food travel also has to be his primary airway. Don't even think about how bad it is sleeping (or getting to sleep). Poor guy.

Edy had it to for a couple of days, but hers went away quickly (probably because she had it so bad last time). He's had it bad the past two days, hopefully it will get better tomorrow. Cross you fingers. And hope that Mom doesn't come down with it.

Family Portraits 2011

We had some family photos taken in mid-December by a professional photographer. She only shot for about 45 minutes, but we got tons of great photos. Click the link below to look at all of them. They can all be reproduced at high resolution for only the cost of processing, though I don't know if they show up in the link at high resolution. You might need to ask me for the good copies.

Lots of New Firsts

In addition to rolling over, Edison has also begun babbling syllables (instead of screaches), holding his bottle by himself, and my favorite, kissing. He puts both of his hands on the side of your head, then pulls you in and gums your face. (Locations vary depending on angle of approach and elevation difference.) If you aren't paying attention, your get your nose soaked in Edison spittal. Fun!

Christmas Eve (before the storm)

Tashana's Mom and Dad came over on Christmas Eve, we opened presents from each other and had a yummy dungeonous crab dinner. Edy is in her fancy Christmas dress you may recognize from her Santa photo.

No Christmas Photos?

I reviewed my own blog, and noticed there have been very few posts and there are no Christmas photos. So I gotta get on that. Here is one showing the aftermath of Christmas morning. Santa brought the basketball hoop.

Rolling Over, Take III

So I heard the first and second video didn't play. Let's try this one more time.
